MobileAccessVE
Cost-Effective Coverage with Cellular-over-LAN
The MobileAccessVE product is the first 4G LTE network architecture in-building solution to deliver cellular services over a LAN infrastructure. The MobileAccessVE solution takes advantage of existing LAN cabling for cellular signal distribution, while maintaining full Ethernet and wireless LAN capabilities. This cost-effective approach does not consume LAN capacity and minimizes the disruption and deployment costs associated with new cabling projects and conventional infrastructure solutions. Now enterprises of all sizes can adopt ubiquitous wireless coverage.
The MobileAccessVE platform is 100% transparent to WLAN equipment, enabling cellular signal coexistence alongside Ethernet signals passed through to WLAN APs. Tested and validated with the Cisco Unified Wireless Network, the VE solution provides a worry-free, plug-and-play design that uses existing CAT-5/6 cabling infrastructure to reliably distribute cellular services at a cost that is comparatively lower than conventional solutions.
* Multi-Input/Multi-Output (MIMO) is a type of smart antenna technology that uses multiple antennas at both the transmitter and receiver to improve communication performance. MIMO is required to deliver the throughput benefits of 802.11n and other 4th Generation cellular services.

As the largest non-profit healthcare system in the U.S., Florida Hospital was challenged to find a cost-effective infrastructure solution for their 150,000 square foot Kissimmee building. The facility lacked Verizon wireless coverage due to dense construction that blocked outdoor signals from entering the building, causing employees to complain that they could not depend on company sponsored mobile devices to perform their jobs. Learn how Florida Hospital’s MobileAccessVE deployment delivered cost-effective Verizon coverage while avoiding costly new cabling projects and hospital disruption.
