VE Control Unit (VCU)
The MobileAccess VE conditions the RF signals sourced from any capacity source, ensuring a constant level of RF before those signals are distributed to VE Access Pods throughout the coverage footprint. In addition, the VCU can optionally combine Cellular and Ethernet services on one CAT-5e/6 for distribution to the APs.
The VCU supports a combination of up to two services. This scalable device is used for large installations of up to 72 VE Access Pods. Supported services include PCS, Cell, UMTS, DCS, EGSM, WiMAX MIMO and LTE MIMO services.
