VE Access Pod (AP)
VE Access Pods distribute RF coverage throughout the Enterprise. Access Pods plug in to RJ-45 jacks which are connected to the VE Controller via CAT-5e/6. The APs distribute wireless services and provide Ethernet/IP connectivity and power (POE) to connected IP appliances such as WiFi APs and IP Phones.
Low Deployment Cost
- Utilizes RJ-45 Ethernet jacks located throughout the enterprise
- Seamlessly coexists with the Enterprise LAN and does not consume LAN capacity
- All APs can be placed or installed in easily accessible locations and can be relocated for coverage modifications as needed
- APs are remotely powered using Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) – no local power required
- Support of connected IP devices (WiFi APs, IP Phones etc) with Ethernet/IP pass through and POE maximizes placement flexibility
