Element Management System
The Element Management System (EMS) provides centralized, end-to-end monitoring and control of the MobileAccess Solutions Pathway. With the EMS solution, organizations can obtain real-time status information on the health of their systems, enabling them to proactively identify and correct degradations before they affect end users.
The MobileAccess EMS solution utilizes Network Controller devices that communicate with the other MobileAccess elements. The 430, 450 and VE Controllers enable management access via SNMP over a TCP/IP network, while the 410 Controller supports access over point-to-point PSTN connections. The system can be further complemented with optional MobileAccess EMS software that provides a consolidated “NOC-like” view of multiple sites via a web browser.
